Our Double GRAND litter
Born 11th August 2008
Sire: Australian GRAND Champion Endlich Lugar zum Feldjaeger (LH)
(Imp USA) (Lugar)
Dam: Australian GRAND Champion Feldjaeger Glitzn Glamor ET
(LHC) (Bindi)
My best guess at the moment with the coat is:
3 Shorthair females
1 Longhair male
4 Longhair females.
Bindi started out well. Six puppies and no dramas.

Then it was the big "booffer's" turn to be delivered. No way was she coming out without a grand entrance. Phil Thomas was on holidays so we thought we would give the Albany Creek ER a go. So the last two girls were delivered by C-Section

At 1.30am Bindi was very glad to get home to the rest of her babies.

Last Litter
Sire: Australian Grand Champion Feldjaeger Klassic Image - Doogle
Dam: Australian Champion Feldjaeger Lah De Dah (LH) - Dede
The good news !! Puppies have arrived. We have had an ultra sound and the Vet saw 7 puppies and expects that she would have missed maybe one or two so there could be up to nine. LOOK AGAIN !!
5 Boys
5 Girls

Once upon a time there was a very contented, longhair bitch called DEDE. Along comes her Knight in a shiny silver coat.- DOOGLE For a week they revel in their love for each other. Then Doogle loses interest and Dede is left to carry the weight of the relationship.

What do you mean "I'm due today - do something!" I'm very happy just lying around! With my now devoted Doogle at my side - (just out of the picture).
Enter Dr Phil Thomas at QVS (West Chermside ER) - Phil
does an ultrasound and says to the vet nurse "clear the operating table - we're
coming though NOW" as Dede is whisked away to the
operating table in just the nick of time. Amazingly they all survived and were happy
squawking, feeding puppies when I picked them up. Once again, thanks to Phil &
QVS staff.

It was a belly full, but she relaxed into her role just perfectly.
Upcoming litters !
Bindi was due to be mated in about January 2008 - Unfortunately she decided to come in to season early and was due to be mated Christmas day, so she missed out. We will mate her mid year.

Previous litters !
Sire: Feldjaeger Numero Oono (LHC) - Maverick
Dam: Australian Champion Feldjaeger Lah De Dah (LH) - Dede
6 Males (3 shorthairs and 3 longhairs)
3 Females (2 longhairs and 1 shorthair)
I don't want my photo taken - I'm too fat !!
And what do you mean "this is my new bed" ?? - It's huge.
No wonder I need a bigger bed ..... The first 5 to be born.
At 6.35am - one tired, but happy Mum.
All 9 are content. - no wonder her belly was so big !
As mum relaxes into her role.
Puppies arrived 12th January 2007
Sire: Australian Champion Endlich Lugar zum Feldjaeger (LH)
(Imp USA) (Lugar)
Dam: Australian Champion Feldjaeger Kameo (Sami)
5 Boys
3 Girls
"Where did these things come from and what are they?" says Sami after arriving home from her C-Section and feeling sore and unsure.
Ahhh - that's better. I can cope if I am on the bed - But I DO NOT forgive the big bruiser that got stuck in my belly and caused all the panic and the rush to West Chermside Emergency Room. Thanks to Dr Phil Thomas for getting out of bed and coming in to ensure all the puppies arrived safe and well.
"Now which one was it...... ? You don't need any extra..........Hang on......................."
"OOOOOO.... Who cares... "Mum's here" (Amanda arrives Saturday morning to see her "baby" Sami and the little ones.)
Puppies born 3rd November 2006
Sire: Australian Champion Endlich Lugar zum Feldjaeger (LH)
(Imp USA) (Lugar)
Dam: Australian Grand Champion Feldjaeger Glitzn Glamor ET
(LHC) (Bindi)
My best guess with the pups is:
1 Shorthair male
5 Shorthair females
3 Longhair males
2 Longhair females.
Yes... that's 11 puppies! But it will be another week or so before I can be confident that I have the coat type right. There are definitely 7 females and 4 males though - that bit I am very confident about.
3 puppies was good, but her belly said there were more to come
7 was looking good, but still her belly said there was more to come
At 11 she said I don't care if there are more inside me, that's where they can stay! I'm exhausted -
Luckily there were no more.

Sire: Decision not made yet.
Highly intelligent, often times tending to be
more human in nature than canine, is an accurate description. Coupled with their
intelligence is their ability to be demanding, and strong willed. Once you have
established who is boss, they are an extremely devoted, responsive
friend and companion with an uncanny ability to almost talk with their eyes and
expressions. They feel they are and should
be part of the family and are best
suited to this role in life.
Their charismatic, almost human temperament
inspires unswerving allegiance and devotion. This can be attested to by the
number of phone calls breeders receive from pet owners who have just lost their
Weimaraner. These people, with no interest in breeding or showing, are willing
to travel any distance or pay any price to find a successor to their dog. The
two phrases most commonly heard are: He was more than a dog, he was part of the
family', and He was more than a dog, he was my friend.‑
If you want a dog who is going to be very much part of your life, demanding attention yet repaying you with complete devotion and companionship, you will love the breed. If you want a dog who sits quietly in the corner, waiting until you decide to pet him or say a kind word, the Weimaraner is not for you.
"Boson" is our Best in Show winning Longhair.
